Film director S. Shanker is known for using visual effects to the best in his movies. Continuing his fondness for visual effects, he is now offering superstar Rajnikanth starrer Robo movie, which was shot at Hollywood's prestigious Stan Winston studios using the best technical expertise.

This apart, costumes for the Superstar in this movie are done by Hollywood designer Mary E. Vogt, who had worked for the blockbuster Men in Black movie.Fascinated about the visual effects, make-up, costumes used in the movie, Rajnikanth said he wanted to write a book on the making of Robo. It's a 140-crore budget movie and lot of efforts have gone into making it, he informed.
