Ace director, Ram Gopal Varma, received death threats on Sunday. Thankfully they are not from fellow directors for making fun of them with a song or from Chiru fans. RGV revealed that he got some letters and also phone calls warning him about the Rakta Charitra movie about the depiction of Obul Reddy in the movie. It is well known that Paritala Ravi & Obul Reddy were at loggerheads with each other. In fact Obul Reddy is generally seen as a person who was a womanizer and numerous rape cases are pending against him. In one blatant case, he allegedly raped a girl in front of her father and in another case he allegedly raped a woman in a theatre. But RGV said that he would not be bogged down by such threats and said that he would not make any changes in the depiction of Obul Reddy in the movie because of these threats.
