The sensuous actress Shobhana from Kerala quit films at the height of her popularity to purse her interest in dancing.

Shobhana is an accomplished Bharatanatyam dancer who has given performances both in India as well as abroad. . Shobhana is also running successfully a dance school. Shobhana is unmarried and lives with her mother. She adopted a six month old baby girl recently. She performed the annaprasana for the baby at the famous Guruvayur temple in Kerala.
