The AICC session will be held in New Delhi Today to elect the members to the powerful decision-making body of the party, Congress Working Committee. While state Congress chief D Srinivas is already in Delhi, chief minister K Rosaiah joined him on Monday evening.

The party high command had invited all the MPs both from Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha as special invitees to the one-day session. While the organisational elections in the state have been put on hold, the AICC cleared a list of 141 members from the state to attend the key session.

The party high command had instructed its MPs to be present in the House during US President Barack Obama's address to the joint session of Parliament on Nov. 9. Meanwhile Kadapa MP Y S Jaganmohan Reddy has decided to skip the meeting due to his ongoing Odarpu yatra.
