CM K. Rosaiah review on Rains

Chief Minister K Rosaiah directed all the district collectors to estimate the damages that occurred due to heavy rains and prepare a primary report. This report would enable the Disaster Management Department and Agriculture Department to take up relief and compensation in the affected areas, Mr. Rosaiah said.
Though the crop loss due to the rains is not much, the State government will take care of the farmers who lost their crops and the Agriculture Department will also facilitate crop insurance wherever possible, he said.
The Chief Minister held a brief discussion on the latest situation, damages and water levels with the officials. The Chief Minister also directed the irrigation, Roads and Buildings, Panchayatraj and other departments concerned to undertake relief and rehabilitation works in all the affected areas.
