Party to take up various programs From Nov. 14th to 19th D.Srinivas calls his party cadre to participate widely The 125th anniversary of the formation of the Indian National Congress will be celebrated in a grand manner across the state, said Pradesh Congress Committee president D Srinivas.

Talking to media persons after a meeting convened to review arrangements for the anniversary celebrations with Chief Minister K Rosaiah, district Congress committee presidents and senior leaders of the party, at Gandhi Bhavan on Tuesday, the PCC chief said that the party would take up various programs to mark the anniversary from 14th of this month to 19th across the districts.

Srinivas said that various competitions on debate, elocution and essay-writing would be held in all districts for students of colleges and high schools.

Apart from this, he added that the party would take up plantation drive in all districts on 15th this month, in which lakhs of saplings will be planted. Meanwhile, The PCC chief called upon party cadre to participate widely in the programs and make them successful.
