Daily Mirror presented on TV5 has been awarded the prestigious Golden Nandi this year. The Programme revolves around presenting issues related to the common man faced in his daily life. The panel which was blow struck by 'Daily Mirror' selected and awarded the programme under 'Best Social Relevant Film Category'.

The reality based show on TV5, called Daily Mirror has been put forth especially to cover the problems faced by the common man in his daily life. Social issues relating to todays world are described and presented in this non-fiction based programme. Daily Mirror is aired every day at 11:40am.

This Non-ficitious programme had recently completed 200 episodes and has gained enomorous popularity amongst the auidence. In one of the Best episodes, the terrible and painful problems faced by Singareni Opencast employees was aired.

A very lively presentation of the villages and families who once lived in peace and later being moved into troubles after Singareni blasts were commendable work of video editors, writers, vocalists involved in the programme. The Nandi Jury specifically picked this programme to award the 'Golden Nandi'.
