BJP leaders meet Governor Narasimhan
Delegation led by Kishan Reddy BJP demands AP CM's ouster for violating prohibitory order
Leader of Bharathiya Janatha Party on Monday, asked Governor E S L Narasimhan to dismiss Chief Minister K Rosaiah and some of his cabinet colleagues for alleged deliberate violation of prohibitory orders by addressing a 'dharna' in prohibited area.
A six-member delegation led by state BJP chief and MLA G Kishan Reddy met the governor and submitted a memorandum. In a message to the Governor, the BJP said, Rosaiah not only participated in the 'dharna' at Basheerbagh locality but also addressed, where prohibitory orders were in force.
The dharna was organised by Congress workers and leaders on Friday to protest the derogatory remarks of former RSS chief Sudarshan against party president Sonia Gandhi.
The party alleged that the Chief Minister failed to fulfill his constitutional responsibility as the head of the government by willfully violating the regulation of his state, committing a criminal offense that warrants action.
