Agitation against sub-inspectors recruitment in front of DGP office

Demanding a halt on the proposed recruitment of 1,100 sub-inspectors, aspirants owing affiliations to 3 Joint Action committees from various universities in the Telangana region on Monday, picketed the Director General Of Police office.

Protesting against the government's move to conduct written examination for sub-inspector posts on December 18th and 19th, the aspirants demanded that the government to cancel the proposed test, until it makes its stand clear on free zone issue.

Raising slogans against DGP, the aspirants tried to barge into his office. However, the police foiled their attempts, arrested the activists and shifted them to Nampally police station.
