Orissa police arrest Padmakka Intelligence inputs from A.P Police

Padma, wife of top Maoist leader RamaKrishna, was arrested on Sunday, by Koraput police along with four other members of the organization at Dudhari forest area near Narayanapatna of Orissa which is 35 km away from A.P.

Acting on intelligence inputs, police intercepted the vehicle carrying hardcore Maoist Padma and her two associates near Dudhari under Semiliguda area and arrested them. Kandula Nirmala alias Sireesha alias Padma, a division member of the CPI (Maoists) and her associates were produced before the media later in the evening.

She was picked up by the sleuths, while she was on her way to meet her husband Ramakrishna and her son. Ramakrishna alias Saketh is the the secretary of Andhra-Orissa Border Special Zonal Committee of the Maoist organisation and a Central Committee member of CPI (Maoist).
