Bharatiya Janata Party State president G. Kishan Reddy has demanded that the Congress introduce a bill for creation of separate Telangana State in the ensuing Parliament session to prove its sincerity on the statehood issue.

Mr. Reddy visited Karimnagar on Tuesday to participate in various party programmes. He was accorded a rousing reception by the party rank and file who took out huge rallies. He launched his party programmes by garlanding the statue of Telangana Thalli amid slogans of Jai Telangana.

Speaking at the party workers' meeting in the evening, he launched a scathing attack on the Congress for betraying the people of Telangana by going back on its promise of carving separate Telangana State.
