Agitation to postpone SI recruitment exam

The heat over Telangana issue rose on Thursday, With group of TRS leaders led by party MLA Harish Rao, staged a 'rasta roko' in the city. Demanding the state government to postpone the recruitment of sub-inspectors of police till the Hyderabad free zone issue is resolved, the party cadre launched their agitation near Secunderabad Railway Station.
Stating that the government had no commitment on the issue, the legislator, Harish Rao demanded that the Chief Minister take an all-party delegation to centre to solve the problem on free zone issue. The TRS chief also demanded that the government should press for the removal of Clause 14(F) in the Presidential Orders.
Meanwhile, Mr. Rao stated that, the government would be held responsible for any serious consequences if it went ahead with conducting the written test for sub-inspectors in the state.
