CM Rosaiah is scheduled to arrive at 11.20 a.m. and will drive down to Pedakakani. He will come back to address the celebrations arranged to mark 125 years of Congress at Vignan Mandiram and drive down to Brindavan Gardens centre to unveil the statue of farmer leader N.G. Ranga.

The roads, which are already in a bad shape, have been dug up to place iron barricades. And right in the traffic island, where a public meeting is to be addressed by Chief Minister K. Rosaiah, a D-ring has been formed.

No one is venturing out for fear of being caught in traffic snarls. The visit of Mr. Rosaiah is marked by highest level of security seen in recent times. The entire force in Guntur is being utilised while forces from Prakasam and Nellore have also arrived.
