All Congress MLAs, MLCs directed to attend without fail
*Meeting is aimed at being a show of unity and strength and an effort to isolate Jagan
* Rosaiah may take action against B. Srinivasa Reddy and P. Subash Chandra Bose

In a sudden political development, Chief Minister K. Rosaiah has convened an emergency meeting of the Congress Legislature Party at 6.30 p.m. on Wednesday to discuss party affairs.

AICC general secretary in-charge of Andhra Pradesh, Veerappa Moily, will attend the CLP meeting, Mr. Rosaiah announced on Tuesday night, within hours of returning from New Delhi where he consulted senior Congress leaders on the strategy to checkmate the defiant party MP Y.S. Jaganmohan Reddy.

All the 156 party MLAs, as also MLCs, have been directed to attend the CLP meeting without fail. Though details of the agenda were not disclosed, sources said the CLP meeting had been called to seek from the legislators a reaffirmation of their loyalty and support to AICC president Sonia Gandhi who was attacked by Mr. Jagan's Sakshi TV channel in a programme aired last week.

The meeting is aimed at being a show of unity and strength and, consequently, an effort to isolate the Kadapa MP, sources said.
