The South Central Railway will be operating 26 additional MMTS trains in twin cities in view of the auto strike. Accordingly, 10 MMTS Services will be operated between Secunderabad - Lingampalli between 9.30 a.m. and 6 p.m. with a frequency of 90 minutes between each service.

This apart, 16 additional MMTS services will be operated between Secunderabad - Falaknuma from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. with a frequency of 90 minutes between each service, said a press release. The Greater Hyderabad Zone of APSRTC too has made arrangements to avoid inconvenience to commuters.

All the spare vehicles will be operated as extra schedules and night shift services will be operated for one extra trip. Meanwhile, the Transport Department has set up a special control room at Khairathabad RTA office to facilitate commuters.
