The ongoing developments within the Congress party and resignation of Chief Minister K Rosaiah will have no impact on the separate Telangana movement, said Telangana Rashtra Samiti president K Chandrasekhar Rao.

Referring to the argument within the Congress that a person from Telangana region should be appointed as Chief Minister, KCR said any such move by the Congress party would not have a bearing on the agitation for separate Statehood.

The TRS would continue to agitate and secure its demand irrespective of the changes in government or Congress party.
