Jagan's uncle lobbies in Delhi

Congress MLC Y.S. Vivekananda Reddy, uncle of Kadapa MP Y.S. Jaganmohan Reddy, has expressed his desire to be part of the Kiran Kumar Reddy Cabinet.
Mr. Reddy, who reached New Delhi on Friday, sprang a surprise by stating that he would meet the central leadership to pursue his chances for a Cabinet berth.
He was among two dozen Congress leaders, including ex-Ministers and legislators camping there, hoping to make it to the Cabinet. Among those lobbying are J.C. Diwakar Reddy, K. Jana Reddy, D. Manikya Varaprasad Rao and K. Parthasarathy. On the other hand, over a dozen MLAs loyal to Mr. Jagan, met him to discuss the political situation including the composition of the new Cabinet.
Former Ministers - Balineni Srinivasa Reddy and Subash Chandra Bose, who are unsure of their retention in the Cabinet, said they were least bothered about ministerial berths.
