Praja Rajyam president K. Chiranjeevi on Thursday stated that the party would stage a massive protest in Khammam district on August 31 on the issue of Bayyaram mining irregularities. He also said that he would tour Telangana once the regional emotions subsided and the normalcy was restored. Speaking at the Rashtra Chiranjeevi Yuvatha, a body of fans' associations in the city, he said he had decided to meet people as issues related to them were not being allowed to be debated in the Assembly. The government had already responded to his movement on Polavaram project, he noted and said that he would also take up a similar movement on Pranahita-Chevella project. He compared his political career to his film life and said as he had improved as an actor with every film and made a special place in the hearts of people.
