Chief Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy held meetings with Congress President Sonia Gandhi and Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, on Sunday. During the meeting it is believed that the names of state Cabinet members are have been finalised & also believed to have discussed the probable candidates for ministerial berths. On finalising the composition of his cabinet and nominees, Reddy said all these were part of the exercise and will be communicated to the media on the completion.

Later, Chief Minister stated that the swearing ceremony for new cabinet, to be held on Wednesday. Let's have a report in detail. Chief Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy arrived in New Delhi on Saturday, to meet Congress president Sonia Gandhi and other senior party leaders to discuss the political situation in the state. He also called on Prime Minister Manmohan Singh. Reddy consulted AICC president, on the final list of members to be included in the cabinet.

Mr. Reddy held meetings with Sonia, Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and a host of party leaders and hoped that consultations on the formation of his new Cabinet will be over by Sunday. Discussions and consultations on the cabinet formation were on process. However, The Chief Minister assured that, the Deputy Chief Minister will be 100 per cent from Telangana region. And, Sources said Vivekananda Reddy, the brother of late Y S Rajasekhara Reddy, is likely to be inducted into the cabinet.

Coming to the post of deputy chief minister, which has been luring many an aspirant among the Telangana Congress MLAs, is most likely to go to Dalit leader from Medak, Damodar Raja Narasimha. According to reports from New Delhi, Damodars name has more or less been finalized. And, Another strong contender J Geetha Reddy's name has been tipped for the post of Assembly Speaker. The third contender P Shankar Rao may have to remain content with the ministerial berth.

Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy who finalized the list of cabinet ministers after a prolonged meeting with Sonia Gandhi, Ahmed Patel and Veerappa Moily, told media that the swearing in ceremony would be held on Wednesday and that the names would be revealed only then. According to early reports, none of the Jagan supporters would find a place in the Kiran cabinet. A few important portfolios would remain with the chief minister, as he might have to include candidates depending on the political developments.

Earlier, the Chief Minister has held a round of discussion on the Cabinet formation with Law Minister Veerappa Moily. Reddy also met Vice President Hamid Ansari, Lok Sabha Speaker Meira Kumar and Urban Development Minister S Jaipal Reddy. Later, The chief minister announced in New Delhi, that he had asked all the state government advisors to resign and submit their papers immediately to chief secretary S V Prasad.

While almost all the advisors had already become inactive during the previous Rosaiah government for want of work. However, we need to wait & watch for the twists & tales in the latest political scenario.
