Kiran does a balancing act, JS heads CM peshi
The Chief Minister, Mr N. Kiran Kumar Reddy, has done a regional balancing act while building his bureaucratic team a day before he stepped into his office in the Secretariat on Tuesday.
Mr Kiran Kumar Reddy also made the first attempt towards building up a Mr Clean image by appointing the special chief-secretary, Mr J. Satyanarayana, who has a clean track record, as head of the CMO.
He also moved the senior bureaucrat, Mr B.P. Acharya, who was facing allegations in the Emaar and other APIIC deals, out of industries to an insignificant post of principal secretary.
The Chief Minister changed the entire CMO except the special secretary, Mr K.S. Jawahar Reddy. The new officials who made it to the CMO were the rural development commissioner, Mr S.S. Rawat, as special secretary and the Warangal collector, Mr N. Sridhar, as additional secretary. Mr Satyanarayana was recently made chairman of the TTD specified authority and is known to be highly techsavvy.
