* First signature on pension file
* Sanctions pension to old age citizens & Journalists families

The State Minister for Information & Public Relations, D.K.Aruna, took charge in the D Block at Secretariat, on Friday. Aruna has granted a pension of Rupees. 1000 to journalists who couldn't work because of their old age. In the meantime, She signed her first file to this effect.

The Minister also granted ex-gratia to the families of journalists who died on duty. Later, The Minister announced that Nandi Awards would be awarded to those who excel in telugu literature.
