The Chief Minister K Rosaiah on friday had cancelled his tour to Khamman just minutes before deciding to leave. Rosaiah was invited to lay the foundation stone for construction of an anicut across the Wyra River at Jalimudi village in Madhira mandal in the district. Other inaugrations that were supposed to take place under the Chief Minister presence were postponed. However Officials and locals expressed their joy on continuing with the foundation stone laying of the Jalimudi project. Report on the resumption of the cancelled tour is yet to be ascertained from the secretariat.
