The Congress MLA for Sangareddy constituency, in Medak district, Thoorpu Jaya Prakash Reddy has extended financial assistance, to the next to kin of those who purportedly committed suicide for the cause of Telangana. A huge rally was staged in Sangareddy, on Wednesday, addressing Jaya Prakash Reddy.

According to the legislator, The program was basically a martyrs meet, launched to recall the services of Telanganaites, who laid down their lives separate statehood row. Apart from this, Mr. Reddy gave Rupees one lakh as compensation to the seven families of, Telangana Martyrs.
