Manda Krishna continues fast in hospital

Founder of the Madiga Reservation Porata Samithi Manda Krishna Madiga, who is on an indefinite fast for the last five days seeking categorisation of Scheduled Castes in the State, is continuing his protest in Gandhi Hospital, where he was admitted after arrest in the early hours of Thursday.
Doctors attending on him stated that the health condition of Mr. Krishna Madiga was deteriorating with the falling levels of blood sugar and blood pressure. He, however, was refusing treatment though advised for immediate medical intervention. Indefinite fast taken up by mandal and district presents of MRPS in all districts is also on and the ranks of the organisation staged rasta roko' protest across the State on Thursday.
