The Telangana Rashtra Samiti MLAs who were protesting in the Assembly demanding scrapping of cases against students who participated in the separate Telangana agitation were forcibly shifted by the police to the party office at Banjara Hills late on Friday night.

Later the MLAs drove to the house of Home Minister P. Sabita Indra Reddy at Srinagar Colony and staged a demonstration. Ms. Reddy invited them for talks shortly afterwards but the MLAs came back and continued the protest.

The legislators expressed their firm resolve to carry on the protest throughout the night. The legislators resisted the police and they were forcibly lifted into a van. The MLAs demanded the police to show if they had any kind of written permission for their removal.
