TRS all set for Maha Garjana

The TRS leaders are on tenterhooks to mobilise as many people as possible to make their Maha Garjana scheduled to be held on Thursday on the outskirts of Hanamkonda. The meeting was originally scheduled on December 9, the day when the Union Home Minister P. Chidambaram made a statement on separate Telangana last year. The TRS plans to commemorate the anniversary of that statement. The party claimed to be mobilising 30 lakh people for the event from all Telangana districts. TRS leaders including K. Chandrasekhar Rao said the meeting - the attendance would send a strong message to the Srikrishna Committee members and to the Central government. The party had cleared and levelled about 800 acres of land for the purpose of meeting and spent huge sums laying the temporary roads and sinking borewells and making arrangements for the parking of thousands of vehicles.
