The Telangana Rashtra Samiti has called for an educational institutions bandh on December 16 and has asked students to join the Telangana Maha Garjana at Warangal. Arrangements are underway for the meet where TRS chief, KCR is likely to announce the road map for the next phase of agitation for a separate Telangana state irrespective of the Srikrishna Committee report.

KCR is trying to turn the meet into a show of strength. To this end he wants to rope in the students, who have been the backbone of the Telangana movement. Meanwhile, nine Telangana Rashtra Samiti members were suspended from the Assembly for the morning session on Tuesday when they continued to disrupt proceedings demanding unconditional withdrawal of cases against students who took part in the Telangana agitations. Educational institutions that have buses have been reportedly asked to spare them for the meet.
