Mr T Harish Rao, said that the Telangana farmers have been facing discrimination in crop insurance and paddy procurement. He pointed out the disparities in the fixation of sum assured in crop insurance throughout the State. Mr Harish Rao also alleged that discrimination was also meted out to the Telangana districts in extending subsidies. He also accused the government of showing discrimination against the Telangana region in fixing scale of finance for crop loan. At the same time, He also appealed to administration to verify the agricultural records in the state.
