More than twenty farmers commited suicide or had a death in a time span of two days due crop loss in the state. Farmers are pleading the government to come in support and help them crawl out of the crisis.

On the other hand more than a dozen TDP legislators sat on a relay hunger strike on the second day on saturday, in support of the TDP Chief Chandrababu Naidu. Farmers set up roadblocks on various important highways. The TDP has called for a state-wide satyagraha on Sunday in solidarity with Naidu.
