Police altered the fasting of Telugu Desam Party activists in Kadapa district on wednesday who were extending solidarity with party President N Chandrababu Naidu towards the problems of farmers. Police arrested the activists and took them into remand around 1 midnight.

The cops held talks with Balakrishna Yadav and Challammareddy who were on fast at the district collectorate. As the activists did not break their fast, police took them into custody. As activists tried to stop the cops, the situation turned violent for sometime.
