NIMS in-charge director P.V. Ramesh, said that Mr. Naidu developed marked weakness and biochemical examination showed acidosis with decreased bicarbonate and sodium levels. He explained that Naidu could fall into coma if atleast fluids were not given.

Senior leaders who were locked inside a room while Mr. Naidu was being shifted claimed that they did not resist the shifting as the doctors explained the condition in which the TDP president was. The TDP leaders said that Mr. Naidu would continue his fast from the hospital bed.
