Tension prevailed in Guntur, with the series of protests organized by TDP leaders in the District. The activists on Thursday, took to the streets & staged demonstrations throwing normal life out of gear. The Protesters set ablaze a RTC bus by pouring petrol & damaged the window panes of other two Buses, at Ganta Vari Palem Village in Shavalyapuram Mandal.

On other hand, the vandalizing incidents were also noted in Nadikudi & Repalle villages. Raising slogans, The agitators launched Rail-Roko by halting Janmabhoomi Express & Secunderabad passenger rail.
