CM hints on revised package for the rain-hit farmers Assures for maximum assistance for the ryots The chief minister, N Kiran Kumar Reddy, hinted on Saturday that a revised package for the rain-hit farmers would be announced soon, after he manages to persuade the centre on the need for providing the maximum assistance for the ryots.

The chief minister told media persons that, he would lead an all-party team to New Delhi to convince the centre that the farmers need help urgently. He also asserted that the Congress was committed to the welfare of the farmers, and that it was not going to shirk its responsibility of providing them succor.

The Chief Minister said, The relief would be in the form of a revised and adequate package. KKR also took the opportunity to ask people to remain calm and observe restraint after the Justice B N Srikrishna Panel submits its report on the issue of the state's bifurcation.
