The Centre has dispatched a contingent of paramilitary forces to the State, to face any situation that may arise after the Srikrishna Committee submits its report on the Telangana issue. The forces will be dispatched in sensitive areas of the state in all the 3 regions, in the city. The officials have already started exercising on the forces deployment in the limits of Tarnaka, Habsiguda & Manikeswar Bagar.

The report will be submitted by December 31st to Union Home Minister P Chidambaram, and the state government is apprehensive that disgruntled elements may use it as an excuse to create trouble.
