Special Programmes have been arranged at Gandhi Bhavan in the city, in view of Congress party's 126th formation day. Along with Pradesh Congress Committee Chief D Srinivas, Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy would also participate in the programmes. The idea of have got closer with the comman man through the implematation of welfare schemes will be discussed in the programme.

Congress MP's protesting to lift cases on students, the Sri Krishna Commissions report on telanagana and Jagan's exit from the party are likely to show effect on the programme. The Congress party was formed with the view to free India from the clutches of Britsihers. Ever since then, the Congress party has been celebrating December 28 as the party formation day. The Congress flag will be hoisted. The Congress leaders will also pay rich tributes to the Congress Senior leaders.
