Mr. Naidu retaliated addressing a press conference on Sunday referring to Mr. Rosaiah's remark. Mr. Naidu regretted that Mr. Rosaiah continued to make such erratic and irrelevant' statements even after the media, opposition parties and various investigating agencies probing different scams in the TTD had found prima facie evidence against three TTD Board members, some employees and middlemen.

Mr. Naidu in a note addressed to the TTD which he dropped into the temple hundi last night after darshan, demanded immediate scrapping of the current trust board and replacing it with the specified authority' comprising three senior IAS officers, as provided under the TTD Act. This was the only way to salvage the TTD and repair the damage its image had suffered in the wake of the numerous scams and administrative distortions, he said.
