The B.N. Srikrishna Committee on Tuesday, said it hoped its report on the Telangana statehood would provide a permanent solution to the issue. Justice Srikrishna said the report would be submitted to Union Home Minister P. Chidambaram latest by Friday.

Committee member V.K. Duggal said, the panel had gone into extensive details while preparing the report. He said the committee was confident there would be no violence in Andhra because of the recommendations of the report.
