Seemandhra JAC slams State

On other hand, Leaders heading the Joint Action Committees of students from universities in Coastal Andhra and Rayalaseema regions on Tuesday, slammed the State government for lifting cases against agitators in Telangana.
Convener of Samaikyandhra JAC, A. Kishore told reporters that, the fact that the State government gave in to pressure mounted by the elected representatives, reflected its lack of commitment in upholding Constitutional propriety and maintaining public order.
The student leaders met at the student centre at the Acharya Nagarjuna University campus, to chart out future course of action in the wake of submission of Srikrishna Committee report.
The meeting also decided to mount pressure on MPs, Ministers and MLAs from the coastal region to resign their seats, in case the report to be submitted by Srikrishna Committee favours bifurcation of the State.
