TRS supporters staged a rasta-roko at a number of places in Telangana on Sunday in protest against the 16 Ministers from coastal and Rayalaseema districts who wanted Srirkrishna Committee to treat all those demanding separate State as anti-national. Barring Hyderabad which was exempted from the agitation in view of Bonalu festival.

TRS president K. Chandrasekhar Rao had yesterday given a call to party activists to organise rasta-roko' across the region. Mr. Rao himself visited the temple at Lal Darwaza in the old city here where the Bonalu was held in a big way. The police took into custody about 50 TRS supporters while holding up traffic on the highways near Patancheru and Sangareddy in Medak district.
