Bharatiya Janata Party Floor Leader G Kishen Reddy on Wednesday criticised the central government, saying that the Srikrishna Committee was nothing but a 'time pass' committee. Speaking to media persons at the Secretariat, Kishen Reddy accused the centre of trying to drag the issue again to gain time so that the actual problem would be out of public memory.

"The committee will offer no benefits, instead it will create problems," the BJP leader said. Kishen Reddy was also critical about the curbs imposed on the media while reporting on the committee or the report. Recently, media persons were advised to exercise restraint while dealing a report on the Srikrishna panel and its report.
