Announcing that Kadapa Congress MP Y S Jaganmohan Reddy would recommence the Odarpu yatra'' in Prakasam district on September 3, Minister for Mines Balineni Srinivasa Reddy on Sunday maintained that no directive had been issued by the party to keep away from the yatra.The Minister who was closeted with Congress MLAs from the district in the evening, told reporters that party leaders and activists will take part in large numbers in the yatra''.

After observing the death anniversary of Y S Rajsekhara Reddy on September 2, the Kadapa MP would begin the tour, he said. The MP would visit the district for nine days and console the families of 35 YSR's followers who had committed suicide or died of heart attack in the wake the YSR's death.
