KCR sets Jan. 6 deadline' for Union government

Telangana Rashtra Samiti president K. Chandrasekar Rao has called upon all elected representatives from Telangana region to create political crisis by resigning their posts after January 6 if the Union Government takes a negative stand on formation of Telangana.
He said, If they fail to do so, they will remain as non-entities in history, he said. Addressing a public meeting in Gadwal town on Thursday evening, he said that he is setting a deadline to the Union government up to January 6, the day on which it is likely to take a stand over the issue.
He disclosed that retired engineers of Telangana have designed a mega irrigation project which will provide irrigation potential to cultivable land from Jurala in Mahabubnagar district to Pakala in Warangal.
