Venkaiah Naidu urges Kiran to lead all party team to Delhi

BJP leader and Rajya Sabha member M. Venkaiah Naidu has urged Chief Minister N. Kiran Kumar Reddy to lead an all-party delegation to Delhi and press the Centre for giving additional assistance to the State for mitigating the plight of ryots.
At a press conference on Thursday, he said the delegation should meet Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, Agriculture Minister Sharad Pawar and Finance Minister Pranab Mukherjee and explain the severity of the losses caused to crops and other sectors. He criticised the Chief Minister for merely writing a letter instead of trying to meet Prime Minister.
