Governor E.S.L. Narasimhan on Saturday expressed the hope that the year 2011 would be a year that would see Andhra Pradesh firmly on the path to progress and development. He was responding to questions from presspersons after receiving New Year greetings and interacting with a host of people at the Durbar Hall of the Raj Bhavan for about two hours.

Gently discouraging probing questions about apprehensions about disturbances over the issue of a separate Telangana State in sections of society and the media, Mr. Narasimhan to all sections of people to be sensitive to and respect other people's feelings.
