Feel like a royal at Chowmahalla
Ever imagined the splendour of Chowmahalla Palace aesthetically illuminated at night and the guards dressed as traditional regalia ushering you into the Darbar Hall.. If not, here is an opportunity for you to experience the magnificence of Chowmahalla Palace in real time as the palace is now being opened during Saturdays from 7 p.m to 9 p.m.
Under the Palace by Night service, visitors can take a peek into the opulence of royalty , walk around the lawns, museums, enjoy cultural and music programmes and have a sumptuous and delicious and traditional chowki' dinner here. Children can enjoy a joy ride in the buggies within the palace premises.
But all one needs to do is make an advance reservation a day before visiting the palace in a group comprising a minimum of 100 persons at a fee of Rs.2,000 per head. They will be welcomed into the palace with a warm and traditional Nowbat' at the entrance and inside they will be entertained by Siddi' and Lambada' artists, says Chowmahalla Palace Director G. Kishan Rao.
