The admission committe for medical and engineering on monday called for a meet to decide on the scheduled date for conducting counselling for engineering students. The counselling has been postponed for more than a more now. Fee structure, Government management quota sharing, permissions from the AICTE were discussed in the meeting.

A clear decision on the start date of councelling was aslo discussed in the meeting. However the committe decised to postpone the counselling for some more time. On the other hand 14 engineering colleges in the state have been deprived of the 2 shift status. With this decesion about 3000 engineering seats could be blowed off from their college quota.
