RTC Sankranti specials

The APSRTC will press into service 3,840 buses to handle the extra rush of passengers during the Sankranti festival between various destinations to and from the State capital. According to a press release, the buses were being pooled in from various depots of the corporation to meet the demand.
The specials would be operated between January 7 to 14 to Vijayawada, Amalapuram, Eluru, Rajahmundry, Guntur, Tenali, Gudivada, Nellore, Kurnool, Nizamabad, Karimnagar and inter-State destinations like Bangalore, Chennai and Shirdi too, according to the demand.
The passengers are asked to reserve their tickets in advance, either in person or online, at the MG Bus Station, Jubilee Bus Station and Dilsukhnagar apart from getting them from any of the 124 authorised ticket booking agents in and around the twin cities.
