APCC president D. Srinivas has asserted that, the meeting of recognised parties convened by Union Home Minister P. Chidambaram on 6th of this month, will not result in any major changes, as the meeting is unlikely to take up discussions on Telangana issue.

Mr. Srinivas said, the Centre's invitation to political parties was in continuation of its efforts to take them into confidence, before making public the contents of the report. Speaking to reporters on Monday, the PCC chief said, the Centre would give time to the political parties to examine the report in detail and firm up their suggestions or views on it.
