Locals of Eluru are facing huge crisis due to the heavy rush of rains in the region. The rehabilitation centres setup to provide shelters to the homeless seem to be of no great help to them. The locals alleged that basic eminites like Water and Food were supplied appropriately. The locals took their problem to the district collectorate for seeking help.

More than 50 villages have drowned in the East Godavari district. The Governmnet has setup a total of 71 rehabilitation centres in which a total of 13000 people are under shelter. The district collector patiently received the flood affected victims and promised to help them faster.
