Director-General of Police K. Aravinda Rao said here on Tuesday that more details about the killing of Gangula Suryanarayana Reddy alias Maddelacheruvu Suri would be available only after the arrest of Bhanu Kiran, the main associate of the deceased.

Speaking to the reporters on Tuesday, the DGP said that as per the preliminary information available with the police, Suri was killed inside the car he was travelling on. We suspect that Suri's close associate might be behind his murder, he said. However, the DGP added that the version of car driver Madhu could be misleading and the probe was proceeding along those lines too.

He refused to react to the different versions given by the doctors of Apollo Hospitals and Forensic experts on the exact time of Suri's death. Mr. Aravinda Rao denied reports of involvement of Kartik Reddy, son of Home Minister P. Sabita Indra Reddy, in the case saying no such evidence was available.
